Summit Historical Society tours give you a chance to learn the history of Breckenridge as you stroll through our downtown, which is listed in the National Historic Register and has 245 buildings from the early days. In the winter, take a tour of the Edwin Carter Museum on Thursdays at 1 PM. See a slide program on the Breckenridge National Historic District Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 AM also at the Carter Museum, 111 N. Ridge St., (Corner of Wellington.)
